Hebe Bee

Hebe (1)

I spent the best part of today in the garden, furkling about – a little weeding, a little transplanting, a little tidying up, a little harvesting … we had lots of bees on the antique lavender and its neighbour – this pretty hebe. It’s all grown up now, from a cutting I took from the bush at our old house when we moved five years ago. I’m so pleased it thrived …

Of course, my camera isn’t quite up to high-quality, great-clarity macro images, but I’m pretty pleased with this one, all the same.
