Morning light


  Walking to school this morning across Pirbright Common, the sun was quite low still, and just lit up all the spiderwebs in the gorse bushes. The effect of that illumination was absolutely astonishing and quite, quite beautiful. I’m not sure that this photo does it justice, but it’s as close as I got.

Autumn Spiders


It’s a sure sign that Autumn is on its way when spiderwebs start appearing like ephemeral party-streamers draped on every bush ….

So, the children went back to school on Thursday, and on Friday I remembered to bring my camera with me … am posting this late due to a riotous social life that took out pretty much all of Friday after school 😉
